Regional Attaché
Mr. Wright currently serves as the Regional Attaché for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Bangkok, Thailand. Mr. Wright is responsible for the oversight of HSI offices in Bangkok, Phnom Penh, and Ho Chi Minh City with operational responsibilities in Burma, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Prior to his assignment in Bangkok, Mr. Wright was an HSI Assistant Special Agent in Charge in Dallas, Texas, where he led various divisions including the Cyber and Victim Services Division as well as the Public Safety Division. Prior to reporting to HSI Dallas, he served in a variety of leadership roles at ICE Headquarters including Unit Chief of the HSI Child Exploitation Investigations Unit at the HSI Cyber Crimes Center and Deputy Chief of Staff for the ICE Office of the Deputy Director. Before his ICE Headquarters assignments, Mr. Wright supervised the HSI Los Angeles Cyber Financial Group and Computer Forensics Group and served as an HSI Special Agent/Computer Forensics Agent in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Mr. Wright is a Louisiana Tech graduate and received a Master of Science in Cyber Systems and Operations from the Naval Postgraduate School.
