Ed Malinowski

Edward Malinowski joined KIN in February 2023 as Chief Technology Officer, bringing with him over 25 years of experience in innovation, transformation, strategy, and growth, as well as a storied passion for finding ways to leverage technology to solve large problems. Prior to KIN, he served as the Head of Group Technology at Jardine Matheson, driving the digital transformation of Jardine’s extensive group companies across the globe. He has also held the role of Chief Information Officer for Great Wolf Resorts and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, as well as Chief Architect for Hyatt Hotels worldwide.

Mr. Malinowski proudly serves the AHLA / HTNG on the Global Technology 100, as well as the advisory board of the China Hospitality Technology Alliance (CHTA), and frequently speaks on topics related to digital and innovation. Believing technology to be a field where anyone armed with determination and a good idea can change the world, he was presented with CHTA's "Most Valued" award in 2017, and his team received the CIO 100 Award in 2019 for their accomplishments in leveraging AI to understand unstructured guest sentiment.

Edward earned a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Bradley University, and lives in Hong Kong with his wife, two sons, and a well-travelled cat.
