Chin Lee has been in IT sector of the hospitality industry for over 20 years, starting as the IT Manager of Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong. During 1997-2001, Chin has led the hotel as the industry pioneer by deploying thin-client technology to successfully enable remote access of property management system and back-office system to combine the accounting, purchasing, and reservations functions of both Mandarin Oriental Hotel and Excelsior Hotel. Chin was appointed the IT mentor of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
In 2002, Chin migrated to USA and joined Raffles L'Ermitage Beverly Hills as the Director of IT. After 3 years in Los Angeles, he was recruited by Four Seasons and moved back to Hong Kong for the pre-opening of the group's flagship Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong in 2005. After 2 years as the Director of IT, Chin was promoted to Regional Director of IT. His portfolio covered Hong Kong, Macau, Greater China and Japan. During his 10 years with Four Seasons, he supervised the hotel pre-opening IT projects for Hong Kong, Macau, Beijing, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen.
In 2015, Chin moved on and stepped into the integrated casino resort industry. He is currently Vice President, Global IT Engagement at Melco Resorts & Entertainment. Chin's global responsibilities include City of Dreams Macau, Studio City Macau, Altira Hotel, Mocha Clubs, City of Dreams Manila, and City of Dreams Mediterranean in Cyprus.
Chin holds an MBA from The University of Iowa, USA. He is the executive committee member of China Hospitality Technology Alliance "CHTA." Chin is a big supporter of driving business through technology innovation in the hospitality industry.
