AHLA STATEMENT ON IMMIGRATION HEARING

AHLA ISSUES STATEMENT ON ILLEGAL AIRBNB SCHEME IN NEW YORK CITY

WASHINGTON (February 26, 2019) – The following statement is a response from the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) regarding the article in The New York Times titled, Inside the Rise and Fall of a Multimillion-Dollar Airbnb Scheme.  In the frontpage Sunday story, New York City officials uncovering an unlawful Airbnb scheme involving more than 100 misleading host accounts and 18 corporations created to run an illegal hotel business in Manhattan to avoid lodging taxes and oversight.

AHLA PRAISES BIPARTISAN AGREEMENT FUNDING GOVERNMENT

WASHINGTON (February 15, 2019) – President and CEO of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) Chip Rogers issued the following statement in response to President Trump signing a deal to fund the government:

THE AMERICAN HOTEL & LODGING ASSOCIATION RECOGNIZES ANNUAL STARS OF THE INDUSTRY AWARD WINNERS

LOS ANGELES (January 27, 2019) – The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) and the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation (AHLEF) honored the winners of the 2019 Stars of the Industry Awards, which included top hotel employees in the hospitality and lodging industry for their outstanding accomplishments, service, and leadership. The winners were chosen from 320 nominations from all sectors of the industry and across the country.
